Spotlight on Blush Events by Aminah Mitchell

March 29, 2015
Blush Events greeted their VIP guests with Champagne

The Payne Mansion built in 1881 is located in the heart of San Francisco on Sutter and Van Ness.
Reminiscent of the Victorian age, this classic building still has original fixtures and craftsmanship preserved. It is a luxury boutique hotel featuring 10 rooms to include 2 Presidential Suites, 2 Junior Suites, 2 King Deluxe , and 4 Standard Rooms.

For couples looking for a unique wedding site, this property is ideal to create the wedding of a lifetime.  The property is conveniently located near Market Street, the Opera House, the Marina and many of the landmark stores and restaurants that draw visitors to San Francisco.

The interior itself makes a classic, simple statement.  However a designer with a good eye will transform the location into a luxurious wedding event.

Celebrating the Salvation Army Kroc Center

Gone are the days when we could buy a life membership at a gym and call it a day.  Last October, I was torn between leaving my neighborhood gym and finding a new place. I had been a member for several years at the gym, and was paying top dollar.  My personal experience, had been that the teachers were overall great, but the turnover was high.  The exercise machines were 75-80% operational,   and the atmosphere was mature.  My quest at the end of  my membership was to save money but still be able to exercise. The journey led me to the Salvation Army Kroc Center.  The center was a generous gift from the late Joan Kroc.  Joan Kroc was the wife of  the late Ray Kroc the creator of the McDonald's chain.  She recognized the need of a safe gathering place, a place with facilities and trained professionals to nurture children’s social skills, arts appreciation and athletic potential. Mrs. Kroc The Salvation Army with $90 million ...
