Vallejo's Secret Coffee Spot

Moschetti's  Artisan Coffee

During the regular work week, no one would notice the little blue building on the way to the Vallejo Ferry. It just happened one day, as I looking for a cute little coffee shop to meet a business owner that I was searching through Yelp and read it's reviews.  I picked up my son from school that day, and told him I wanted to check out a coffee shop.
The first time around, it is easy to miss.   The signs don't grab a person's attention.  The building sits next to a railroad track.  If I had not driven around a couple of times, I would have assumed that I got the wrong address, it looks like an apartment.
Upon entering the building however, it is easy to distinguish that this were an artisan roaster dwells.  Like many artists, it's all about the outcome. Who really cares the driveway is not paved, on a weekday pretty much no one is there.  Except for a small kitchen with pot of coffee tasting,  the deception is that the guys making the coffee are also the ones who will sell you the coffee. It's not a coffee shop.   There is a pitcher for tasting their coffee in a small kitchen like room.  It's not the place to meet a business owner.

There is free coffee tasting on Saturdays.  Unlike the weekdays, there is an entirely different scene.  Vendors line the entrance, free coffee tasting is in the back room.  What's unique about this place?  The coffee is made in "Vallejo".

Celebrating our Bay Area Communities

This page is dedicated to our local Bay Area Communities here in Northern California.  The American Constitution protects the freedom of enterprise through a system of laws through "Liberty and Freedom of Choice". It was not too long ago, when the American Dream only imagined being able to use technology through portable telephones, communicate via television, and the ability to reach other parts of the world in nano-seconds.   The day has come, technology has made its strides and it continues to thrive.  In the same vein, free enterprise still exists and flourishes in our local communities. The artists, the local grocers, the attorneys, the accountants, photographers, videographers, the auto-repair specialists, the home based businesses such as the travel professionals are still making their mark.   They are the people, who remind us that connections still exists through friendship.  We as a nation have the choice to honor our local businesses and share those pe
